BRAND new to Flamenco Beginner’s Course (eight-weeks consisting eight 1 hour classes)

Enroll in an artform that provides a visual interpretation of music and rhythm with the use of the dancer’s hands and feet as the musical instruments.

Expect to spend some time learning the basics, if you are brand new to Flamenco.

This is not a dance that you can learn in a couple of classes.  Learning Flamenco is like learning a foreign language.  Starting with vocabulary, words and phrases, one can begin to put these together to make a complete sentence.

In this 8 week course, learn the basic flamenco structure and how to collaborate with the music or musicians.  Study the Beginner technique in arms, footwork, and basic Flamenco rhythms.

No previous dance training required.

*Women should wear a close fitting top and comfortable pants/long skirt that do not restrict movement. Men should wear a comfortable shirt and pants.

Flamenco shoes are not required, but recommended.  For the first few classes, wear sturdy shoes with chunky heels and covered toe/heel.
